Greetings! I'm Gerry

 

I am 23 years old this year and I am a graduate from Institute of Technical Education ( ITE ) at College Central. I am have studied Higher Nitec in IT Application Development for 2 years after graduating from Nitec in Social Media & Web Development in the Year of 2017-2018. I have a hobby which is custom building, Discovered the custom keyboard hobby in 2020, I then started building my first keyboard for around 200++ SGD, could never go back to using normal keyboards,

 

I learned how to solder, lube switches, difference between keyboard layouts, switch profile like tactile and linear, sound profiles, keycaps material sound profile, So far.

 

i have built 3 custom keyboards:

• Mode80 with boba U4T switches, GMK deep navy keycaps, FR4 plate, soldered PCB, stacked mounted
   

• DZ65 KBDfans with gateron kangaroo switches, GMK 9009 keycaps polycarbonate plate, hotswap PCB, drilled the standoff's of the casing, made it into a gummy o-ring mount
   

• AKKO ACR pro 75 with boba U4T switches, TAIHAO sakura keycaps, polycarbonate plate, hotswap PCB, gasket mounted

 

In my portfolio, I am going to showcase some of my works and projects that I have completed and in the past which consist of a variety of modules such as Animation, Photoshop, Programming and designing of websites, Mobile app programming, etc., with the use of different Adobe Applications and also Xcode Swift 4.

Based on the ratings of my skills & knowledge shown below of all the different works that I have done during my Nitec/Higher Nitec days, I am mostly quite comfortable with everything accept for Xcode
